Casper’s Corners- Your weekly update
by Jasper Meddock
These last two weeks have definitely been action packed. Lessons have been off the hook and the M-22 Challenge was a huge success. The Maxfield’s this past weekend were a super stoked family and a pleasure to work with. We had a lit up day on Sunday and got Jess, Renee, and Dave all up and riding on boards. On Monday, I had a private lesson with Keri, the female winner of the Challenge. She was in great spirits despite some less than favorable weather; windy but cold. We had a lot of wind and a great lesson that allowed her to progress a ton towards being a kiteboarder.
Stand Up Paddleboarding lessons have been going great as well with several families having very successful experiences. The Glen Arbor house is feeling a lot more like home now that I have met many more locals and even a student of ours who lives in town. Hopefully the great wind we’ve had the last few days keeps up and the good sessions and lessons continue! -Casper
