Whether riding freestyle, surfing the waves or racing at high speeds, Damien Leroy has mastered them all. Considered the most personable pro in kiteboarding, Damien is an amazing personality to be around and loves to share his stoke for the sport by encouraging other kiteboarders to push it to the limit.

Aaron Sales
As an avid kiteboarder for 11 years and editor of Kiteboarding magazine for over three years, Aaron Sales brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry and loves to share his stories. Hear about his adventures from around the world, from snowkiting the peaks in Alaska to being held at gunpoint in Venezuela. Aaron is also an expert on gear and instruction and will make sure you are taking your kiteboarding to the next level.

LOCATION AND CONDITIONS
Wide-open, butter-flat, crystal-clear waters offer unlimited kiting opportunities. Throw your kites down on the largest beach in the Florida Keys and let the Broneah crew get you rigged and ready for multiple days on the water. Don’t worry about staying upwind either — we have PWCs for quick returns on downwind runs. The wind tends to vary from 15 mph to the upper 20s, so bring all the kite sizes you own.

DETAILS

Camp fee:
$2,895 per person

Extra person fee:
$349 for a non-riding friend, spouse or child, which includes lodging in the participant’s room Sunday – Thursday night, breakfast and lunch each day and participation in the final party and dinner celebration

Transportation:
All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Islander Resort and Islamorada, Florida

Waiver & Insurance:
Each participant, guest and child must sign all necessary waivers before taking part in any activities

Cancellation Policy:
Kiteboarding Fantasy Camp reserves the right to refuse admittance to any applicant. Should an applicant wish to cancel their participation, the cancellation refund policy is as follows:
• 15 days before = 50% refund
• Less than 15 days before = No refund

WHAT IF THERE IS NO WIND?
In the extremely unlikely case of no wind in this kiteboarding paradise, there are many no-wind activity options. Here are a few for you to consider when packing:

SUP:   Enjoy the pristine waters on a stand-up paddle board. Go for a long cruise down the coast or compete in a head-to-head race against other campers

Scuba Diving/Snorkeling:   Take a guided tour or just go directly out in front of the resort

Open Water Fishing:   There are countless charters and operations that would be happy to take you out for a day on the water in one of the nation’s premier fishing spots

Kayaking:   Kayaks are available for rent at the resort for a low price

Photography:   With a year-round summer climate, the Keys are an ideal place for underwater and nature photography

Shopping:   Close to the town’s plaza you will find small stores to purchase souvenirs, crafts, sport clothing and everyday necessities

Organized beach sports:   Join others in various beach sports
