Meet our Crew- Kegan Gill
Name: Kegan Gill (aka Scrappy)
Position: Coach
Bio: The first time I saw kiting I knew it was the sport for me. It combined my passion for water, sun and flight with the style and adrenaline of wakeboarding and surfing. I caught a lucky break as a freshman at Northwestern Michigan College’s flight program when a good friend invited me to take a free kite lesson he had won with Broneah. After day one I was hooked and have been kiting since.
During my summers in college I would teach people to fly planes during the week, and how to kite on the weekends for Broneah. I love staying active, constantly challenging myself with new things and hanging with the quality friends I have met through kiting. I was recently offered a pilot slot in the Navy; however I may just end up buying a van and becoming a full time kite bum.
