Meet our Crew- Nick Madrick
Name: Nick “Mox” Madrick
Position: Coach
Bio: Took my first lesson from Broneah in the summer of 2003. I loved it so much that I bought a complete set up that day and spent the night at the Broneah’s house. By the next season I was a certified kiteboarding Instructor. I could say that this sport has changed my life. I grew up playing football in high school and college and had a very structured life. I also grew up on the water, Walloon Lake, my favorite place in the entire world. So I knew what it was like to be involved in water sports. It was the lifestyle of kiteboarding that changed my outlook on life and ultimately my career. After several years of being involved in the industry I launched a clothing company called Stoke International. When you say the word, “Stoke or Stoked” you have a lot of excitement, energy and passion, and I wanted to spread that. I turned Stoke into an acronym that stands for “Seeking To Open Klosed Eyes.” Through Stoke clothing I want to inspire people to live their life to the fullest everyday. My goals for the future are to continue to teach kiteboarding so that I can show others what a wonderful sport/lifestyle it represents. Stoke will always be apart of me and I work hard everyday to grow the business, push the lifestyle, and inspire others.
